There are 3 different fold options on our online ordering system:

Half Fold: Can be used in greeting cards, or in multi-page documents, like catalogs and newsletters.

Trifold: Great for creating small compact color brochures but can also be used for larger designs.

Z Fold: A slight variation from the trifold, but also used for brochures.

For all catalogs and newsletters on our online ordering system, we use what is called a Saddle Stitch Spread. This means your catalog will be printed on larger pieces of paper, then folded, cut and stapled. Most of the catalogs you get in the mail from major retail chains are printed and bound using this method.

However, for catalogs with large numbers of pages, or if you want to print a book, we might use what is called Perfect Binding. Most books have been printed and bound using this method, which involves folding, cutting and then gluing the paper to the inside of the cover.

When printing wide format banners, particularly on vinyl, many of our customers need to find a way to hang their banners up. Grommets, circular rings of metal that go through the edges of your banner, allow you to tie the corners up in all kinds of places.

Printing a trifold or z-fold brochure that you want to mail? By using tabs you can eliminate the cost of an envelope. You will need to use a thick, durable paper if you are going to mail it using tabs. Also make sure your address field and any postal information are correctly placed in the design.
