By carefully looking over the following checkpoints before uploading your files, you will help us to produce a perfect print job for you without any delays. By meeting these requirements you will also help to avoid costly errors. Please share this document with your graphic designer. 1. Include All Images! Even when images are imbedded, it is extremely helpful if you send ALL images used in creating a ready-to-print file.
2. Include All Fonts! When sending a ready-to-print file, please include all fonts, even those used in placed graphics. Please do not use menu styles on fonts. For example, if multiple Helvetica fonts are displayed, include them all, even if you did not use all of the available Helvetica fonts.
3. RGB doesn’t work! For 4-color printing, all images and graphics need to be converted into CMYK before sent to us for printing.
4. Correct Bleeds (1/8”) Allow your final file to extend (bleed) 1/8” past the border when the image extends to the edge of the piece.
5. Indicate crop, score and fold marks. Text must be at least 1/16” away from the cut marks in ready-to-print file.

7. Please do not use low resolution JPEG’s for print. These are not sufficient resolution to translate to a printed image. Printing requires a resolution of at least 300dpi; Internet JPEG images are typically 72dpi. The result will be low quality and “fuzzy.”
8. Proofread and spell-check your work! We often miss simple typing errors when setting up for the printing presses, as we are looking at the document as a whole (not actually looking at its content).
